Crete Carrier wins Safety Award

Crete Carrier Corporation was proud to accept the second place Safe Fleet Award in the American Trucking Association's Industrial Safety Contest. Crete Carrier competed for this award with general commodities truckload carriers with over 1,000 employees.

Ray Coulter, Vice President of Safety, accepted the award on behalf of the company at this year's Safety and Human Resources National Conference and Exhibition hosted by ATA's Safety Management Council on September 16 - 18 in Baltimore, Maryland. This year's conference focused on "A Safety Stimulus Package for 2009: Reinvesting in our Safety Infrastructure."

The awards, sponsored by Great West Casualty Company, recognize carriers with the best programs to promote safety throughout the trucking industry and those with whom we share the road.

This award reflects the efforts of every employee and the decisions made day in and day out to reinforce the company's commitment to "Safety First and Foremost." The decisions we make every day make a difference in keeping the roads safe for our drivers and the motoring public.
