SUMMARY

Performs outbound calls in order to verify information on driver applications.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Receives and carries out instructions.
  • Completes and distributes all reference checks as required. 
  • Verifies employment history of applicant via phone or fax from previous employer, or obtains proof of employment from applicant if business is no longer in existence. 
  • Enters follow-up comments into computer database. 
  • Keeps informed of company policies, procedures, and terminal updates.
  • Updates driver application files. 
  • As needed, assists with other general duties and special projects that may include filing, scanning/indexing and creating, tracking and maintaining reports.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Ability to read, write, talk, see and hear.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. as needed.
  • General knowledge and proficient use of a computer and computer programs.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
